Stampin’ Sisters Project 1

The wait is over!!
Here is Project 1 from our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat.
Everyone received the What I Love stamp set in their
Friday night gift box.
Their first project was a set of six cards using
the What I Love stamp set and the greetings
were from the Perfect Pairings stamp set.
What I Love Cards
There was a bit of “fussy” cutting on these cards but it
was so worth it.  The details were wonderful.
I love how the flowers popped out.
One of my favorite cards in this project is
the Rich Razzleberry one with the flowers
along the bottom edge — we cut around the
bottom edge of each flower for a scallop look.
Everyone received a package of Blender Pens for
this project.
Candy Stock Up
We had a candy buffet set up for the weekend
so they could keep their strength up.
Here’s America putting some treats in a bag
to share at her table — don’t you love the sharing.

Come back tomorrow for Project 2.

Stampin’ Sisters Retreat Final Day

Well, our Stampin' Sisters Retreat is over for another year.
We had such a great time.
One of my favorite things about this event is I get to do it with
my sister, Tina Rappe.
We have the best time together from the beginning to the end.
We started planning the projects the last weekend of January.
Tina does the "fluff" as I call it — she is responsible for all the
pretty stuff.  I do the computer work — dividing up our orders,
typing and formatting the directions for each project.
During the event she does most of the explanations, directions, etc.
I'm in charge of sound effects
(whoop, whooping to get everyone's attention).
I also take care of organizing the "come on down" gifts.
We work very well together and that makes the whole event
so much more fun.

I thought I would share a few pictures of us over the past three days.
Car Full of Balloons
I think I shared this one Friday night — we went to pick up 15 balloon
bouquets for the table decorations.
My car was filled full and we started laughing like kids — that meant it
was time for a selfie.
Cigars
We had a game for all the guests to play for prizes — it was dropping
clothespins into a quart jar — they had to get two clothespins in the jar to
win a prize.  Tina decorated the clothespins and the jar all pretty.
We got a little slap happy Friday night and pretended the clothespins
were cigars.  A little Laurel & Hardy look or as our uncle calls us
Laverne & Shirley.
Tina & PeggyHere we are in front of all the balloon bouquets on the last day.

Thank you God for such a wonderful sister.
I am very blessed.

Stampin’ Sisters Retreat – Day 2

Yesterday was Day #2 of our Stampin' Sisters Retreat.
Oh what fun we had!!!
We took a group picture of all 60 people in attendance.
Group
We started the day out with my husband, Tony.
He came to sharpen scissors for those who had dull scissors.
Tony Sharpening
He spent about 4 hours with us and sharpened
a lot of scissors.  These ladies are ready to craft away
and now they can do plenty of "fussy" cutting (haha).

Lunch Line
After a morning of "hard work" they were treated to an
Italian Buffet for lunch.  It was a yummy break in our day.
Lunch
Check out all the great choices they had,
Pastas with Marinara or Alfredo Sauce,
meatballs, grilled chicken strips, salad with lots of toppings
Garlic Bread and yummy cookies and brownies for dessert.
The hotel staff was awesome — they even catered to those of us
with Gluten intolerance — they had gluten free pasta and
it tasted wonderful.

The ladies had a choice to participate in a card swap.
Almost everyone joined that fun.
Swapping Line
Here they are lined up ready to swap.
Can you feel the excitement?

We put all the cards on display and numbers them.
Everyone attending got to vote for their favorite card.
Card Contest Winners
The winners were:
Kim Vale — 1st place
Cheri Carol — 2nd place
Gail Diss — 3rd place
All of the cards were wonderful but everyone loved these three cards just a bit more.

We'll be starting the final day soon.
Does it look like fun?
Are you ready to join us next year??
We would love to have you.
