Relax with Weekend Adventures

Today I have a fun card to Relax with Weekend Adventures. This awesome masculine card features the Weekend Adventures Designer Paper & Stamps. The card is perfect for a birthday, Father’s Day or even for a retirement. I love this designer paper — it definitely speaks rugged outdoor to me. The coffee mug reminds me of the speckled campfire mugs you see in outdoor stores. Just sit in front of the campfire and relax.

This card is a gate fold, meaning the edges meet in the front middle. The three designer paper layers are adhered only to the left front of the card. You can see them extended in the picture below.

June 2025 Card Sketch Challenge

It’s a new month and that means it’s time to share my June 2025 Card Sketch Challenge template and my sample card. This month I used the brand new Party Banner Dies and added lots of circles. I started with a Petunia Pop card base to coordinate with the Florals in Bloom Designer Paper. Bubble Bath was added as a coordinating color. Texture came from the Stripes & Dots Stamp Set and the Pattern of Friendship Die. I used the Blooming Phrases Stamp Set for the greeting banner.

I recommend keeping this template to use as a handy reference when you are stuck designing a card. This layout works great with so many different designer paper and color combos.

Here’s another card sample using the template. Look how different the card looks by simply turning the card vertical instead of horizontal. For this card, I used the Encircled in Love Stamp Set and added a coordinating strip and dots to coordinate. I am just loving this color combination of Coastal Cabana and Timid Tiger.

Be sure to check out the video for all the tips & tricks to make and assemble these fabulous cards. I truly hope you will participate in my June 2025 Card Sketch Challenge!!
