Easter Bunnies

I know we are just starting to think about Valentine's Day
and Easter isn't really on our radar yet, but
check out this adorable card.
It uses the Festive Flower Punch that was in the
Holiday Catalog — woohoo, it is also in the
Occasions Catalog and there is a
new stamp set to go with it.
No it isn't a poinsettia either.
Check this out.
Easter BunniesThe new stamp set is called Friends & Flowers.
I LOVE this set — you can make a cute goldfish,
a baby in a pea pod and of course flowers.
This card started with a piece of Thick Whisper White
cardstock.  I added a layer of Bermuda Bay designer paper
from the Brights Designer Paper Stack.
I stamped the bunny face three time (inking up with markers)
and punched out with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch.
I punch six ears and punched out with the Festive Flower Builder Punch.
I colored the inside of the ears with Pink Pirouette marker.
Attach the bunny faces with dimensionals.
I folded the two outside ears down.

You’re So Sweet

You’re So Sweet — awwww……..
Honeycomb Happiness is one of the Sale-a-Bration
stamp sets.  This fun set will make your day
SO SWEET!!
You're So Sweet Ice Cream
The card base is Tip Top Taupe — 5 1/2″ x 7 1/2″ — scored at 4 1/4″.
I added a 1″ x 5 1/2″ strip of Birthday Bouquet designer paper
(I used the ice cream cones) to the right side of the card.
The Whisper White piece is 3″ x 5 1/4″.
Stamp “You’re So Sweet” with Tip Top Taupe ink.
I used the Lots of Labels Framelits for the tags —
Blushing Bride, Tip Top Taupe and Shimmery White.
On another piece of Shimmery White cardstock
I stamped the ice cream with Mint Macaron ink
and cut out the ice cream.
Stamp the cone again with Tip Top Taupe ink
I used an Aqua Painter to color in the base
of the cone and the “mint” ice cream.
I used Tip Top Taupe marker to draw
the chocolate sprinkles on top of the ice cream.

Hello Birthday Girl

Confetti and Party Hats — I think that means there’s a birthday.
Today’s card is bright and cheerful and
definitely says HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Hello Birthday GirlThe card base is Pool Party with a layer of Whisper White.
Next is a layer of Pool Party that I embossed with
the new Confetti embossing folder.
I attached a piece of the It’s My Party designer paper to
the bottom of the embossed layer.
I added some of the new Pool Party 3/8″ Glitter Ribbon
across the top of the designer paper.
This ribbon is awesome — it has a nice glimmer
but is soft and pliable — great to tie bows with.
I used a new Sale-a-Bration stamp set called
Hello to stamp the words with Melon Mambo ink.
I stamped the party hat with Crushed Curry ink.
I also used Wink of Stella – Clear to add a bit
of sparkle to the party hat.  What birthday girl
doesn’t want a little sparkle.
I used the Deco Label Framelits to cut
the words out and attached to card
front with dimensionals.
