Nice Cuppa

When I first looked at the Occasions Catalog this was one
stamp set I didn’t think I needed — A Nice Cuppa.
I thought what would I do with this.
Well, I was so wrong — love this set, so much fun.
AND there is a coordinating framelit set so you don’t
have to cut everything out by hand — LOVE IT!!!
Nice Cuppa

I started with Hello Honey card base.
I added a layer of Basic Black cardstock and then one of the
It’s My Party designer paper.  I used the Circles Collection Framelits
to cut out the Black circle and the designer paper circle.
Adhere the designer paper circle to the black circle.
Adhere these circles to the dotted designer paper — leave the left
edge hanging over just a little bit.  Trim the edge of the circles
off even with the designer paper.
Stamp “They Say It’s Your Birthday” from Suite Sayings with
Memento ink.  I created the banners with the Triple Banner Punch.
Stamp the tea cup with Melon Mambo ink (don’t forget to place a
piercing pad under your cardstock to help cushion the stamp).
Cut out the cup with the coordinating Cups & Kettles framelits.
Also cut out a heart swirl.
I used the Clear Wink of Stella on the heart swirl.
I added a strip of Rhinestones to the tea cup.

Happy Birthday — Let’s Party!!

One last card using the Party with Cake stamp set and
the coordinating Party Pop Up Thinlits.
This bundle was a blast to “play” with.
There are so many fun things to do.
This card uses both pieces from the Thinlit set.
Hooray Pop OutI started with a Mint Macaron card base.
Then a layer of Basic Black cardstock — 4″ x 5 1/4″.
I added some of the wonderful It’s My Party designer paper – 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″.
I cut a Basic Black circle with the Circles Collection Framelits.
I used Melon Mambo cardstock to cut out the Happy Birthday.
I trimmed off all of the excess — so I had just the Happy Birthday.
I attached to the black circle with the Fine Tip Glue.
I created a little banner of Whisper White and stamped
“Let’s Party” with Memento ink.

Now on to the inside — I used the Hip Hip Hooray thinlit with a piece
of Whisper White cardstock.
Hooray Pop Out Inside
I used the It’s My Party Washi Tape around all four edges.
The finishing touch — I added a couple of the It’s My Party Enamel Dots.

These pop up cards are so fun to make and the thinlits make them a breeze.

More Celebrating with Cake

Here’s another card we made using the
Party with Cake stamp set.
Cake with CandlesThe card base is Bermuda Bay with a layer of
Watermelon Wonder.  That’s topped off with a
layer of designer paper from the Cherry on Top Paper Stack.
I cut a label from Whisper White cardstock using the
Lots of Labels Framelits.
I stamped the words with Memento ink and
colored in “with cake” using the Bermuda Bay marker.
I added some Crushed Curry sprinkles above the words.
I stamped the slice of cake with Bermuda Bay ink and
cut out with my paper snips and attached to the label
with dimensionals.  Oh, and don’t forget the candle
on top — that’s stamped with Melon Mambo ink
and punched out with the candle punch from
Party Punch Pack.
