Love Blossoms Framed Art

I love framed art papercrafting.
I love the way people ohh and ahhh when they see the project.
I love when my stampers finish their project and are so proud
of what they accomplished.
I try to do a framed art piece for each holiday.
Here’s what we did for February — Valentine’s Day.
I just love how this turned out.
Love Blossom Frame
We started with the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit from the
Occasions Catalog.  There are so many great pieces in that kit
and so many pieces left to make cards and treat holders with.
We started with a 12″ x 12″ piece of Whisper White card stock.
Next is Crumb Cake, Whisper White and Blushing Bride.
Rose Red card stock is used for the mats.
The main stamp set used is Bloomin’ Love,
the Boom, Boom stamp is from Groovy Love.
My Heart Smiles is from Suite Sayings.
And the world image is from Going Global.
We used the Bloomin’ Heart Framelit to cut out a heart from the
Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper.
The embellishment kit has the paper clip bow, the heart, the sequins,
the ribbon, pearl string and wooden heart.
This kit is amazing and it’s only $12 — order yours right away.

Rose Wonder Sympathy

Rose Wonder stamp set is another new stamp set
in the Occasions Catalog.
This stamp set helps you make some amazingly gorgeous cards.
Today's card is very simply but so beautiful and elegant.
I think it has a calming feel to it and is perfect for a sympathy card.
Rose WonderThe card base is Thick Whisper White and then another layer of
Whisper White that is popped up on dimensionals.
On this layer we've stamped the rose with leaves using VersaMark
ink and White Embossing Powder — heat with the Heat Tool.
Next use sponge daubers with Rose Red and Olive stamp pads
to color in the flower and leaves — it's ok if you go outside the
lines a little.  Stamp "With Sympathy" with Memento ink.
We also used the sponge dauber and Old Olive ink to sponge
around the edge before attaching to the card base.

Flowering Fields Birthday

Flowering Fields — I’m ready for them, how about you?
Today’s card features the Flowering Fields stamp set from the
Sale-a-Bration brochure.  It is a great stamp set to work with.
The color combination is one of my favorite happy color combo —
Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry.
Flowering FieldsThe card base is Rich Razzleberry with a layer of Whisper White.
Happy Birthday from Perfect Pairings stamp set,
this is another stamp set that you can choose free from the
Sale-a-Bration brochure when you place a $50 order, is stamped with
Rich Razzleberry ink.  We used the Honeycomb embossing folder
on Pear Pizzazz card stock.  Use the Oval Framelits for the Old Olive
and Whisper White ovals.  Stamp the flowers from Flowering Fields
stamp set (remember you can choose this set FREE with a $50 order)
with Memento ink.  I used a blender pen with Rich Razzleberry ink
for the flowers and Old Olive for the stems.
The banner is cut from the Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum paper.
I used a sponge dauber and Rich Razzleberry ink to color the vellum.
