Penguin Kisses

It's time for some penguin kisses.
Last night was my yearly Christmas Buffet (Santa's Workshop).
I designed (or case) projects that works great for
Christmas gift giving.
I saw this fabulous item that fellow demonstrator, Kelly, had made — LOVE IT!!!
You know how much I love this penguin — I could use this stamp all year long.
But what's better than the penguin — this beauty holds chocolate treats
AND a gift card.  Who wouldn't love to receive this.
Penguin Kisses Gift Card HolderIt's made from Bermuda Bay cardstock.
Start with a 6 1/4" x 9 3/4" piece — score it down the long sides at 1" and 5 1/4".
Turn it and score down the short side at 2 3/4", 5 1/4", 6 1/4", 7 1/4", 8 1/4" and 9 1/4"

Use the Washi Tape punch for the window — just glue a piece of window sheet behind it.
It used the Tombow Multipurpose glue to assemble the box.

A great tip — used glue dots to stick the chocolate kisses to a strip of
cardstock — 1" x 4 5/8".  This makes it quick and easy to insert the
candy and they won't fall all over.

The back has Whisper White card stock that is stamped pretty
so you can write your quick little message.
It's a greeting card, candy and gift card holder all in one.

$400,000 — I can’t believe it.

Oh My Gosh — Look what came in the mail today.
I'm sorry — I just had to share it with you.
$400,000 Pin
Back in September I hit $400,000 in career sales.
Stampin' Up! sent me this beautiful pin in honor of this accomplishment.
I am so proud and so very grateful to all of you.
It is because of each of you that I was able to hit this goal.

Ok enough of that — on to today's card.
Sheet Music Poinsiettia
Check out this beauty.
Don't you love the music sheet paper?
It's from the Home for Christmas Designer Paper — so much fun.
The poinsettia is made using Reason for the Season stamp set
and coordinating Festive Flower Builder Punch.
This flower is gorgeous but a bit intimidating.
This is a swap card I received and I've been chicken to
give it a try.  I have all the supplies but all those
pieces for the flower.  I think it is worth the time
though — don't you.

And a little sneak peek — the Festive Flower Builder Punch
is in the Occasions Catalog (which starts January 5th).
AND wait until you see the NEW stamp set that
coordinates with this punch — LOVE IT!!!!

Check out this week's WEEKLY DEALS
Dec 8 - 14
NOW is the time to get the Precision Base Plate — 25% off.
Whisper to Santa that you'd like this under the tree.
Another sneak peek — there is a GREAT accessory
coming in the Occasions Catalog this goes with this
and you are going to love it.
So get the Precision Plate now while it's on sale
and then you'll be ready to order the
accessory on January 5th.

Present with lots of sparkle and baubles!!

This card makes me think of wrapping presents.
I haven’t started wrapping presents yet — have you???
This is another Founders Circle Swap from Jill Olsen.
I love all the different things going on.
It just makes me want to open it up.
JoyThe card base is Whisper White.
There is a strip of Real Red card stock on the bottom.
Then a strip of dotted vellum.
The top piece is from the Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum.
There’s only a short time left to get this great paper.
Then she cut a strip of the Real Red Pompom Trim and
some of the Silver Cording Trim and tied a bow
tucking the pompom trim into the bow as she tied.
Joy from the Your Presents stamp set is stamped in Real Red
on Whisper White and punched out with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch.
The 2″ Circle Punch was used to punch out Silver Glimmer Paper.

This is definitely a sweet and simple card.
Could easily make a punch of these and get them
in the mail before Christmas.
