Trim the Tree

 It's time to trim the tree.
My husband brought in all the boxes of Christmas decorations last night.
Now I have to clean the house and put all the decorations out.
His job is to put the tree up and decorate that.

It was made using the Project Life by Stampin' Up!
Seasonal Snapshot Card Collection and Accessory Pack.
I added a piece of 4 1/4" x 11" Thick Whisper White card stock
and a 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" piece of Old Olive card stock.
The Crumb Cake Snowflake piece is a 4" x 6" card that
I cut down to 4" x 5 1/4".
The tree piece is a 3" x 4" card from the card collection.
I used the Seasonal Snapshot 2015 stamp set
and Old Olive ink to stamp the Joy.
It was punched out using a 3/4" Circle Punch and
adhered to a 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch of Cherry Cobbler card stock.
I wrapped a piece Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine around twice
and tied a bow.  Top the tree with a star sticker from the Accessory Pack.

Let’s Be Jolly

Thanksgiving Day is over.
We made it through Black Friday.
Now it’s time to start the holiday traditions.
Putting up the tree and decorations, baking Christmas cookies,
wrapping presents and spending time with family & friends.
This card should help get you started — Let’s Be Jolly.
Let's Be Jolly LogoThis card was fast and easy to put together using the
Project Life by Stampin’ Up! Seasonal Snapshot Card Collection
and Accessory Pack.
The card base is Old Olive.
The “designer paper” is one of the 4″ x 6″ cards from the
card collection — I just trimmed it off a bit to make it 4″ x 5 1/4″.
The “Let’s Be Jolly” is a 3″ x 4″ card that was adherered
to a 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock.
I added the tree and star from the Accessory Pack
and don’t forget to “dot the I” with a sequin.
“Dot the I” Bob Cratchet — I can’t wait to watch
George C. Scott’s “A Christmas Carol” — it’s such a classic.

Gather Together

Yesterday was a good day spent with family.
We all gathered together and ate way too much.
Then a bit of sleep and out for some Black Friday shopping.

It was so quick and easy and you can make a ton of cards.
This is another Thanksgiving card I made using the cards.
I used the coordinating Seasonal Snapshot 2015 stamp set
to stamp the Gather Together on the card front.
