Fall Fest

Yesterday's post was a bit rushed after the long day of stamping and a house full of kids.
Everyone arrived and the doors opened at 9:00 a.m.
As you could see yesterday, they were very excited.
We have a couple of brand new stampers — that's always a good time.
I hung up my new sign.

We welcomed the all of the "Newbies" with a special gift — a sticky note pad holder.
This is a beautiful addition to any work station.  I don't know about you but I go through a ton of sticky notes everyday.

Next it was time to honor our "All Timers" — that's not Alzheimer's, it's All Timers.
That would be anyone who has attended every Fall Fest Retreat that we've had (this was our 2nd year).  Here's what these wonderful stampers received.
All Time Gift
Thank you Amanda and Katie for this great gift idea.  There took mini Nilla Wafers, candy kisses and butterscotch chips and made cute acorn cookies and then decorated them up so cute.

Come back tomorrow to see the first project they made.

Fall Fest Fun Begins

Yesterday was the big day — Fall Fest finally came.
Here's Christy (a brand new stamper) coming down the hall — she doesn't know what she's in for yet.

Here's what was sitting at the table waiting for them.
Busy Working
They are busy working away.
Swapping Gail
Time for swapping.  They had a great time.

Time to turn in.
I'll share much more with you tomorrow.

All is Calm, All is Bright

Have you tried out the Wonderland stamp set yet?
It is amazing.  The row of trees is just stunning.

The base of this card is Tip Top Taupe.
Next I cut two piece of Very Vanilla card stock (4″ x 5 1/4″).
I used the Oval Collection Framelits to cut an oval in one piece.
Stamp the trees a couple of times with Tip Top Taupe ink on the second Very Vanilla cardstock.  Attach the piece with the oval opening over the stamped trees with dimensionals.  Stamp All is Calm, All is Bright on a Very Vanilla strip.
Cut banner ends in both ends.  Take your bone folder and “ripple” the Vanilla strip.
Attach this strip to the card front with dimensionals
