Let it Snow!!! Let it Snow!!! Let it Snow!!!

This card seems quite appropriate for today.
Since Chicago land area and southern Wisconsin are suppose to get hit with a good snow storm tonight and tomorrow — could be up to 8″.  Guess we’ll have to wait and see.  In the meantime these little snow guys are adorable.
Snow FriendsThe case base is Thick Whisper White.
The next layer is Island Indigo.
A layer of Basic Black is the background for the stamped images.
I love all the “accessories”.  It’s like playing with paper dolls — oh so fun.
I stamped the Let it Snow on a 1″ strip of Whisper White.
I used the Fine Tip Glue on the largest snowflake and added Dazzling Diamonds.
Don’t you love the sparkle.

Snowman Flip Corner Card

I’ve been seeing this Flip Corner Card all over the internet.
I showed a sample of one I did quite a few months ago.
I like it so much that I thought it would be perfect for this card.

I used the Snow Place stamp set — love this set.
Snowmen Corner CardAfter making the cut and folding the corner down to the front,
I tucked a piece of Old Olive under the flap — for just a bit of contrast.

Don’t you just love these words — “Snow Way!!  It’s Christmas Already?
So adorable.
This stamp set is like playing with paper dolls.
Ahhh, those were the days.

Time to Chill…

It's time to chill……
The weather is turning cold here in Illinois.
Snow flurries are expected this weekend.
I think this card is perfect for the start of the cold and snow.
Or maybe it would be a good New Year's card — the holidays are over
and it's time to chill.
Time to Chill Pull Out CardThe card back is Night of Navy — 4 1/4"  x 5 1/2"
The pull out section is 4" x 9 3/4".
Make a cut in the long edge of the card stock — line card stock up at 1" and cut from the 3" mark to the 7 1/2" mark.
Turn the card and score at 3" — this should line up with the start of the cut
(ONLY SCORE TO THE CUT LINE)
Then score all the way down the card at 5 1/4"
Next score only the 1" bottom section from the cut down (should be 7 1/2").

I used the Season of Cheer designer paper — snowflake piece

I love using this Snow Place stamp set and coordinating Snow Friends framelit.
Stamp the penguin on Whisper White card stock.
Stamp the little snowman on a scrap of Whisper White and cut out with the framelit.
Stamp the hat with Night of Navy ink.
Stamp the penguin's tie with Marina Mist ink.
Stamp the little snowman's bow tie with Night of Navy ink.
Cut all out with the framelits.
Stamp Time to Chill with Night of Navy ink and the snowflakes with Marina Mist ink (stamp off each time for a lighter shade).
Add some Rhinestones for a little bling.
