Love You

I like a stamp set that has versatility, don’t you?
At first glance, the Bloomin’ Love stamp set seems
perfect for Valentine’s Day, which it is, but there are so
many other possibilities with this.
I have a tough time with anniversary cards — this set
is perfect.  Today’s card works great for
Valentine’s Day but is also great for anniversaries
or even weddings.
I love the Real Red and Basic Black combo — it is
so striking. 

Love YouThe card base is Real Red with a layer Basic Black.
I put the Whisper White card stock through the
Softly Falling embossing folder.
I used the Bloomin’ Heart framelit with Real Red
card stock to cut out the heart.  I just had to use
my favorite new product on the heart —
Wink of Stella — Clear.  I love the sparkle
it adds and it is just right for this card.
The black flowers were cut using the flower dies
in the Bloomin’ Heart framelit set — they add just
the right touch.  Stamp the banner and words
with Memento ink and cut out using the
framelit piece from Large Numbers Framelits.
This is another item that is a MUST HAVE!!!
And last but not least add some Rhinestones.

Be Mine Valentine

Hearts, Hearts & Flowers.
I love the soft color in this card.
And I love grey with pink.
Today's card uses the Bloomin' Love stamp set and
coordinating Bloomin' Heart Thinlit.
You can buy each item separate BUT they can
be purchased in a bundle and you save 15%.

Be MineThe card base is Pink Pirouette with a layer of Melon Mambo.
I added another layer of Pink Pirouette that I embossed
with the Happy Heart embossing folder.
Stamp the heart image from Bloomin' Love with
Melon Mambo ink and adhere to a layer of
Melon Mambo — attach to the card front with Dimensionals.
I added a 1/2" banner of Smoky Slate and
stamped "Be Mine" with Melon Mambo ink.
I used the Bloomin' Heart Thinlit to cut a large flower
from Melon Mambo cardstock.
The final touch — I added some pearls to the
flower centers.

Be Mine

I love making Valentine’s cards.
I don’t send out as many as I should.
Maybe that’s a goal for each of us to set this year.
Mail out FIVE Valentine’s Day cards.
They don’t have to say love…..
They can be Thinking of You, Missing You, I Care.
This will be the first card I mail out.
This card features the Bloomin’ Love stamp set
and the Love Blossoms designer paper stack.
Bloomin' LoveThe card base is Blushing Bride cut at 5 1/2″ x 7″ — scores at 4 1/4″.
On the right side of the card I added a strip of Early Espresso
card stock (1 1/4″ x 5 1/4″) and a piece of the designer paper
that is 1 1/8″ x 5 1/8″.
I also added a panel of Early Espresso card stock to the
front of the card and then a piece of Crumb Cake
that was embossed with the Heart embossing folder.
I stamped the heart image from Bloomin’ Love with
Blushing Bride ink on Whisper White card stock.
I tied a bow in the center of the 1/4″ Cotton Early Espresso ribbon
and attached to the back of the Whisper White piece.
Then layers on Blushing Bride and Early Espresso.
This layer is attached to the card front with
dimensionals but don’t put dimensionals on the
right of the piece or you will stick your
card shut — that just wouldn’t work.
