To a Classic Birthday Greeting

Happy Birthday to a Classic — I think this is a perfect saying for a Masculine card.
Happy Birthday ClassicThe stamp set featured on this card is Guy Greetings.  I am really enjoying working with this stamp set.  The base of the card is Cajun Craze with a layer of Natural Ivory cardstock.  I used the Adventure Bound DSP Stack for the plaid and dotted layers.  I added a piece of the 7/8" Cotton Ribbon to cover the DSP seam and give the card a little more dimension.  I stamped the car with Early Espresso ink and the Happy Birthday with Cajun Craze ink on Natural Ivory cardstock.  I sponged Early Espresso around the edges.  This was adhered to a Cajun Craze layer and attached to the card front with dimensionals.  I stamped To a Classic with Cajun Craze ink, sponged the edges with Early Espresso and adhered that to the front of the card with dimensionals.

Big Day

Big DayThe base of this card is Coastal Cabana (one of my favorite colors) with a layer of Early Espresso.  The used the Tiny Triangles embossing folder on the second Coastal Cabana layer.  To this layer I added a piece of Best Year Ever DSP (also a FREE choice with a $50 order) and a piece of Early Espresso 1/4" ribbon.  I cut out a starburst framelit from Early Espresso cardstock.  Next I stamped the birthday cake and candles on a 2 1/2" Whisper White circle using Memento ink.  I colored the cake using Blendabilities — Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Coastal Cabana.  I stamped Happy Birthday with Early Espresso ink on Whisper White cardstock and used the Honeycomb Punch to make the banner ends.  This card was pretty quick to make and gives a real WOW factor to the recipient.

Celebrating You

Have you checked out the Crazy About You stamp set in the Occasions Catalog?  What a great stamp set and well worth the investment.
Celebrating YouThe base of this card is Calypso Coral with a layer of Coastal Cabana and then a layer of Whisper.  Next I used a piece of the Irresistibly Yours DSP (you can choose as a FREE Sale-a-Bration item when you place a $50 order).  I sponged Coastal Cabana ink on the DSP to color the areas not embossed — this piece has little polka dots all over it.  I trimmed the bottom of the DSP to make a banner.  I used the Flower from Crazy About You and stamped it on Whisper White cardstock with Calypso Coral ink and punched out with the 1 3/4" Scallop Punch.  I added a pompom from the Calypso Coral Pompom trim.  I stamped the Celebrating from Crazy About You also with Calypso Coral ink.  The used Calypso Coral cardstock and the Hello You thinlit to cut out YOU and adhered to the front of the card using the 2-way glue pen.
