Calming Camelia Happy Birthday

It’s a Calming Camelia Happy Birthday!!
I shared on last night’s Facebook Live.
This is the White Wash Technique that is so cool.

Calming Camelia Stamp Set, Happy Birthday, White Wash Technique, Stamp with Peggy

I had so much fun with this card.
My inspiration came from Mary Deatherage and Lisa Freeman who both
shared cards with the White Wash Technique.

This was the first time I’ve done this technique and it was so much fun!!

The flower image is stamping with Blackberry Bliss ink on Rich Razzleberry cardstock.
Then using a Blender Pen and Whisper White Craft Ink I colored the flowers
making them pop from the cardstock.

I used little blotchy stamps from Lucky You to fill in the blank spaces on the card front.
Pearls were colored with Dark Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blend to coordinate with the cardstock colors.
Don’t forget to stamp the inside of the card and the envelope.

Sweet Talk LOVE Heart

Valentine’s Day is just 3 days away so I thought I would share my Sweet Talk LOVE Heart
made with a wood heart from Dollar Tree.
We made this project last month at my Valentine Game Night.

Sweet Talk Designer Paper, Heart Punch Pack, Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder, Sweet Hearts Dies, Valentine's Day, Home Decor, Stamp with Peggy

I love making home decor projects and Dollar Tree is the perfect assistant for these projects.
We started by tracing the heart on the Sweet Talk Designer Paper and cutting on the lines.
Then glue the paper to the wooden heart.
The letters are die cut from Highland Heather cardstock using the retired Large Letters Dies.
We punched a Melon Mambo scallop heart and Polished Pink heart using the Heart Punch Pack punches.
Some texture was added using the Stripes and Splatters 3D Embossing Folder.
I removed the twine hanger and added a new hanger using the Highland Heather Grosgrain Ribbon.

I can’t wait to check out Dollar Tree for our next decorating holiday.
