Card for Troops

Lindas
Last night was our Christmas Card Party for our Troops.  It was a great service project for my stamper friends to participate in.  Twenty ladies gathered and we stamped Christmas Cards to send to "Holiday for Heroes" which is a great project that is operated by the American Red Cross.  These cards are hand delivered with a little gift to service people across the United States.  The ladies brought cards from home and then we spend the night together stamping more cards.  We filled a box with approx. 230 Christmas Cards which will be mailed today for our service people.

The admission fee for the night was bring items to donate to "Operation Support our Troops" which sends care packages to troops all over the country.  The ladies were asked to bring items from a list and WOW did they donate.  We had three boxes set out to put the donations in and the boxes were filled and flowing over on the floor.  Check out this picture full of donations.

Boxes for Troops
I thank all of the ladies that participated — you made me proud to be friends with each of you.  THANK YOU to Tammy for asking if we could participate in this and bring the information about Holiday for Heroes to me.  THANK YOU to Robin for sharing "Operation Support Our Troops" — what a great way to remember her late husband and help service people across the country during the holidays.

Last but definitely not least a HUGE THANK YOU to Gail, Robin, Tammy and Maria for bringing all of the treats to share with all the ladies stamping — we did have a large assortment of chips and dips, desserts, beverages and of course a few chocolate treats to keep us energized.

THANK YOU ALL FOR A GREAT NIGHT!!!!

Christmas Buffet

Buffet Group
It's time for my annual Christmas Buffet.  This year I've designed 13 adorable gift items for customers to sign up for what they want to make and two nights for them to come make what they signed up for.
That's right, this Thursday and Friday night customers will be playing Santa's little elves and enjoying creating fun little goodies for family and friends — great Secret Santa items, teacher gifts, etc.
Which item is your favorite?
